SHAR

Self Help Addiction Rehabilitaion Inc. (SHAR) is a nonprofit organization located in Detroit, that provides substance abuse services for Detroit.  SHAR’s mission is “the establishment and operation of quality substance abuse treatment facilites and programs providing necessary support services for all clients, regardless of their ability to pay”

The team worked with 1,500 stakeholders to develop the Recovery Park vision and master plan.  The 180-acre project vision includes urban farming, education, commercial, and residential development.  All componets will address the economy, the environment, and the social aspect of sustainability.
